Limitless (2011 Film)
100% use of your brains capabilities; This film, while enjoyable, focuses too much on the most base possibilities of obtaining such a thing (greed, manipulation, more STUFF, etc). But the idea of a Magic Pill that allows you to tap into your full potential… it is enticing. And this film does explore that in an entertaining way.

The Gnostic Christ
If you are into the Gnostic Gospels, there are some very interesting insights during this presentation regarding the Gospel of Thomas, among other things. The presentation is a bit “home-spun”, perhaps, but it is well worth a listen!

The Source Family (2012 Documentary)
It’s 1971 and communes and new religions are on the rise. The Source Family are an “Aquarian tribe”, a secretive but outlandish group of 140 beautiful young people who stroll Los Angeles in colorful robes, devotees of Jim Baker, AKA “Father Yod,” a controversial restaurateur-turned-spiritual leader with fourteen wives and his own psychedelic rock band.

An absolutely mesmerizing film on numerous levels. I go back to it again and again… Synopsis (which does not begin to touch on what the film is actually About): Old friends Wallace (Wallace Shawn) and Andre (Andre Gregory) haven’t seen each another in five years and agree to meet for dinner.
