Our take on the 16th century, Italian Renaissance, single-decade hand-rosary. Made to be held with two or three fingers inserted into the loop of ten beads, for reciting prayers or mantras. The cross, main focal bead and the “berry” bead on the tassel are all hand-woven. Japanese seed beads, Swarovski crystal pearls, rutilated quartz, jasper and glass beads were also used to create the piece. It can also be custom ordered, in the size and colorway of your choice.

This five decade rosary was painstakingly constructed by hand, including the hand-woven, 3-dimensional cross, and accompanying hand-woven accent beads. Both Czech glass and lustrous Swarovski Crystal Pearls in velvety brown and cream, are combined with antique bronze elements to create the evocative historical look and feel of the piece.

The total length of the rosary is just under 60 inches long, so it can easily be doubled for ease of wear. The total length of the cross and other pendant components are approx. 5 inches long.

Lily has become rather smitten with what is known as micro-macrame lately, and this necklace reflects her new obsession with this ancient craft. This particular piece combines luminous and strong upholstery knotting cord, our Italian Tubular Wire Mesh Ribbon, and lovely and light-weight hollow Murano glass beads with glistening gold-stone highlights, handmade by our own Tim James. Elegant, semi-precious stone Mala necklace. Hand-knotted between each bead, and designed in the traditional Mala fashion of incorporating 108 prayer beads, plus counter beads, and “guru” bead with hand crafted tassel. This piece was lovingly strung with grade A garnets, along with golden obsidian, marcasite, rhinestone pava beads, and antique-silver-plated spacers and bead caps. The tassel portion of the necklace includes a hand-crafted sterling silver and marcasite bead as well as ruby jade.

This necklace is part of our Astro-Mala series, and is specifically designed for the sign of Capricorn, but it can be worn, or used in prayer, by anyone who is attracted to the energy of the stones.

This necklace was a real labor of love to make, due the intricate work involved in creating the hand-woven spiral design of the tassel-pendant, which took several days to hand-weave. The colors of the pendant are reflected nicely within the body of the necklace, which features lovely hand-made Murano glass beads by Tim James, as well as a variety of other glass beads from the Czech Republic, Indonesia and India. Finished with a decorative hand-made copper toggle, which fastens in the front of this one-of-a-kind piece.
